Creating the logo animation, I wanted to showcase the Airbnb mission statement: “To create a world where anyone can belong anywhere.” The vision statement is “Belong Anywhere.” Based on that, the words that first come to mind when I think about this industry are welcoming, worldwide, and travel. To communicate all of this, I created warm and welcoming designs. I incorporated key words that represent Airbnb so that when people see the video, they can quickly and easily recognize the brand.
